D Blues scale on the guitar fretboard

The D Blues scale is made of D (the root), F (minor third), G (perfect fourth), G# (augmented fourth), A (perfect fifth) and C (minor seventh). The fretboard shows every one of them across the neck in standard tuning (E A D G B E), and plays them back so you can hear the scale.

The blues scale listed here has six notes, with a raised fourth between the fourth and the fifth. The map shows how that one extra note joins the minor pentatonic shapes on the neck. It is a close relative of the minor pentatonic.
