F Blues scale on the guitar fretboard

The F Blues scale is made of F (the root), Ab (minor third), Bb (perfect fourth), B (augmented fourth), C (perfect fifth) and Eb (minor seventh). The fretboard shows every one of them across the neck in standard tuning (E A D G B E), and plays them back so you can hear the scale.

The blues scale listed here has six notes, with a raised fourth between the fourth and the fifth. The map shows how that one extra note joins the minor pentatonic shapes on the neck. It is a close relative of the minor pentatonic.
