D Dominant Seventh Suspended Fourth chord (D7sus4) on the guitar fretboard
The D Dominant Seventh Suspended Fourth chord (D7sus4) is made of D (the root), G (perfect fourth), A (perfect fifth) and C (minor seventh). The fretboard shows every one of them across the neck in standard tuning (E A D G B E), and plays them back so you can hear the chord.
This chord takes the dominant seventh and swaps its third for a fourth. That leaves a suspended fourth with a minor seventh on top. On the neck it overlaps with the shapes of its two parents, the suspended fourth and the dominant seventh.
