Ab Suspended Fourth chord (Absus4) on the guitar fretboard

The Ab Suspended Fourth chord (Absus4) is made of Ab (the root), Db (perfect fourth) and Eb (perfect fifth). The fretboard shows every one of them across the neck in standard tuning (E A D G B E), and plays them back so you can hear the chord.

The suspended fourth swaps the third for a fourth, so the chord leans toward resolving. The fourth is only a step above the third, which means the two shapes sit very close on the neck. It is a near cousin of the suspended second, which pulls the middle note down instead.
